Phoenix Race Karts are built by Australian karters, for Australian karters. We live, breathe, sleep and dream karting. Day in, day out. At Phoenix there is no such thing as sick days, weekends or holidays, only the ever-present desire to brake later, corner faster, release better, ride a ripple smoother, hold a wheel up longer. Karting is our passion, and it shows in our work. Every component on a Phoenix kart has been designed, tested, and redesigned until it functions exactly how we want it to. We love karting, we love our karts, and we’re proud to offer them to you.
Phoenix Race Karts is a company born of high-technology. It begins with the concept, when a kart is fully modeled down to the last nut and bolt in 3D CAD software to check that every fit is perfect, that each component functions in perfect synergy with the next. The chassis is evaluated in every way in the latest FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, a technique that allows the designer extremely precise control of the flex characteristics of the chassis. On-track results are collated and compared with measurable values from the computer analysis, and the design optimised through a painstaking combination of analysis and track testing.
Every Phoenix kart is designed with a single ultimate goal. Speed. Millions of dollars worth of technology is utilised to achieve gains measured in fractions of percent. Data obtained from track testing is carefully analysed and cross-referenced, in the constant search for areas where minute improvements can be made. Each kart is tested by drivers ranging from beginner to elite, short and tall, light and heavy, young and old. The end result is a kart that is user-friendly and predictable in set-up, allowing the karter to perform well at any level, be it recreational driving, club racing or title events.
