Endurance racing team PDS Racing have been in regular contact with us at Phoenix of late, having recently taken delivery of their new S3 Elvis chassis.



Team Principal Mark Johnson sent us this summary of the weekend:

Mark Johnson: The team achieved a 4th place in the recent Eastern Ck 24hr race.

After qualifying in 9th position the team started well and gained 5th early in the race. A reliable and consistent drive saw the team climb to 3rd place at the 22hr mark in an intermittently wet and dry track. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed karts were all within a few laps of each other at this late stage of the race.

A damaged rear crash bar after an impact and a loose spare chain required the only unplanned pitstop in the race (wet weather aside) which set the scene for an eventual 4th place outright, first in division B and best presented kart.

The kart was comfortable, easy to drive and consistent from start to finish.
