Well, the Primepower crew are happy little vegemites (though I use the term "little" fairly loosely!), taking two championships in the WA South Eastern Zone Series.
Big mover was recent junior-upgrade Rob Grant, who stormed through the senior ranks to take 2nd overall in Clubman Superheavy! Nice work there Rob! Another great performance was registered by Mick Petersen, also taking 2nd place for the series, in the Clubman Light category.
As they say, however, winners are grinners, and the biggest grins are planted on the faces of Primepower's dynamic Leopard duo of Ricky Carmody and Peter French! Rikster took the honours in Leopard Light, and Frenchie surprised the existing Leopard Heavy ranks by appearing from nowhere and dominating the series!! Awesome stuff lads!
I'm sure the drivers would all like to thank their support crew, which from memory consists of: Pete, Pete, Pete, Mick, Mick, Rob, Rob and Goughy, though there might be a couple more Pete's in there, I can't remember. I CAN tell you that one of the Pete's happens to be a (famous) Patrizi, which might explain why so many of the Primepower team perform so well.
Congratulations are certainly due to the Primepower guys, we're all rapt for ya!
